And The Heavens Weep

The Heavens weep, the thunder claps
The lightening flashes...
But not here.
We are in a drought situation
As is usual for Summer.

While waters rise in the North
And fires rage in the Southwest...
We wait...and pray.
We pray for rain
We pray for Texas
We pray for the flooded ones.

The Heavens weep
The Earth drinks and overflows
The Earth rumbles
The Ocean roars

I am still...and peaceful
Though I don't understand
All the reasons for all the devestations
I am secure because I know
That God is still in control.
